My Little Guy and the Sword of Wayland

When My Little Guy returned home with me from London, he became very depressed. I had assured him that Swords R Us would have a suitable replacement for the one he lost at Middleham Castle, but I had been wrong, they had been low on stock and unlikely to have what we were looking for until the New Year. I tried many things to try to cheer him up, but he began to spend more and more time on his own. I decided I needed help from our good and true friends, Lord Uhtred of Bebbanburg and Earl Ragnar of Dunholm and so I sent word, telling them of the tragedy.

Lord Uhtred knew where a magical sword was hidden. It was Albion one of the seven swords of Wayland, charged with the power of light and darkness. It was held at the Castle of Doom and guarded by the evil Kjartan and Ivarr.

Uhtred and Ragnar set out for the Castle.

They were soon spotted by Kjartan and Ivarr who rode out to fight them

Good will always truimph over evil and very soon the sword warriors had killed their enemies.

Uhtred entered the Castle of Doom.

And found Albion.

Lord Uhtred and Earl Ragnar returned to Dunholm with Albion.

Lord Uhtred thanked Earl Ragnar for his help and then continued on his journey until he came to the home of My little Guy.

It was his good friend Lord Uhtred and he was carrying a mighty sword.

'My friend' said Uhtred 'I bring you Albion, one of the seven swords of Wayland, charged with the powers of light and darkness.

My Little Guy was so happy. He thanked his friend and gave Witnere an apple.

Lord Uhtred stayed for tea and cakes and then set out for Bebbanburg.
